Shui Ping is one of the oldest and best-established styles of Yixing Zisha teapot, over thousands of years. This pot is fully handmade, with natural, fluid lines and a round, plump body, the straight spout connecting solidly with the body while maintaining symmetry with the ear-like handle, working together to enhance the harmony of the piece. The body is spacious, allowing the tea leaves plenty of room to grow and stretch, fully bringing out the flavor of the tea; moreover, the lid fits snugly into the pot, helping to hold in heat and fragrance. Just like other Yixing pots, extended usage over time with the same type of tea will allow that tea to mellow out and become more fragrant.
